After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1981, Bob began his investment career at the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco. He was a market maker on the options floor, trading his own account from 1984 through 1989.

After moving to Colorado in 1989, he spent six years as Senior Portfolio Manager and Trust Investment Officer at Colorado National Bank, working with the assets of individuals, trusts, foundations and qualified retirement plans. Bob is a member of the CFA Society of Colorado, the CFA Institute, and is a member of the board of the Denver Children's Museum.
