Tony earned his degree from Yale University in 1947, majoring in international relations. He began his investment career with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith in 1964. In 1971, he opened the Denver branch of Inverness Counsel Inc. and served as a Senior Managing Director for 24 years.

Tony is a leader in the Denver community and throughout his investment career has been associated with numerous eleemosynary institutions. Tony has also served as a trustee for several Colorado foundations.
